East Side King is a group of trailers that offers late-night delicious Asian street food seven days a week at a string of popular East Austin bars (The Liberty Bar, The Grackle and Shangri La). You may recognize founder Paul Qui from Uchiko and recent Top Chef fame.
Mmmpanadas is a locally-owned artisan empanada maker, founded by two people who love food, travel, Austin and each other. Focusing on fresh ingredients and unexpected flavor combinations, their empanadas are baked fresh and made from scratch.
The Peached Tortilla was founded in 2010 and has been serving hungry Austinites their Asian and Southern-influenced gourmet tacos and sliders in eight locations across the city ever since. Probably best known for their banh mi taco and slider, their crab cake slider and pad thai taco are both a close second.
Coolhaus specializes in architecturally-inspired, hand-dipped ice cream cookie sandwiches — complete with edible wrappers (how cool is that?!). Offering seventeen ice creams and six different cookie types, Coolhaus encourages guests to mix and match for optimal gastro-delight. With regular flavors like Balsamic Fig and Mascarpone ice cream and Lemon Thyme sorbet, you’ll be a loyal fan in no time.Plus, in honor of the Festival and its inherently inventive approach to cuisine, the gourmet ice cream sandwich makers will be featuring four customized Festival flavors:
- Chocolate Chipotle with Espresso BBQ Sauce Swirl featuring sauce from Franklin BBQ
- Woodford Reserve and Brown Butter Candied Bacon Ice Cream
- Ambhar Tequila-infused Blackberry Mojito
- Perrier Jouet Peach Bellini Champagne Sorbet
