2016 marks the 130th anniversary of The Driskill, a beloved Austin icon, and to celebrate this momentous occasion The Driskill is hosting an intimate six-course dinner with exceptional wine pairings from Trefethen Family Vineyards.
Founded in 1968, Trefethen Family Vineyards is one of Napa’s classic wine estates. Today, the Trefethen’s third generation continues the family’s passion for crafting exceptional estate grown wines. The Driskill’s Executive Chef Troy Knapp will create the menu, and each course will be paired with Trefethen’s award-winning wines, selected and presented by Hailey Trefethen. Executive Chef David Bull is also returning to The Driskill for one night to join Chef Knapp in the kitchen. Chef Bull was the executive chef of The Driskill from 1999-2007 and was named a Food & Wine “Best New Chef” during his time there.
