Chef Abby Yates leads the culinary team at NO VA Kitchen + Bar on Rainey Street. Her creativity thrives in the kitchen where she creates strong and delicious flavor profiles using fresh, seasonal ingredients. She is always up for challenge and enjoys some friendly competition. At NO VA, she has created menu favorites like Curried Cauliflower with Lemongrass Kaya, Masa Gnocchi a vegan and gluten free take on green chile enchiladas and her favorite the Saturday Special Pork Cheeks with a hearty braise. Her past experience includes working at Swift’s Attic, Fork + Taco and being featured on Bravo.
