Andrew Wiseheart

Co-Owner/Chef, Contigo and Gardner

Andrew Wiseheart, a native of San Angelo, Texas, met business partner Ben Edgerton at summer camp in Texas Hill Country. In the years between the initial meeting and partnering with Edgerton to open Contigo Austin, Wiseheart attended culinary school and traveled the world, cooking and learning along the way.  Wiseheart’s cooking reflects techniques and flavors accumulated throughout his travels, as well as his Texas roots. This style is reflected in the chef’s second collaboration with Edgerton: Gardner, a vegetable-focused restaurant which opened in in East Austin fall 2014.
