As a fifth-generation Texan, Anthony loves sharing the flavors of Texas through his ice creams. He spends his days baking, developing recipes and sourcing ingredients from local foragers, farmers and food artisans to create Lick Honest Ice Cream’s delicious and unique flavors. Anthony and his partner Chad Palmatier opened Lick Honest Ice Creams’ flagship location in Austin in 2011. They began selling pints wholesale to local retailers in 2013, opened a location in San Antonio at The Pearl in 2014, and in 2015 they opened their third location in North Austin.
Since opening, Lick Honest Ice Creams has received praise from several local and national publications, including The New York Times, The Cooking Channel, The Food Network, GQ, Thrillist and Travel + Leisure.
