Mala Sichuan Bistro, established by the young husband and wife team, UT Austin gradates Cori Xiong and Heng Chen, now provides Houston with a gateway into Sichuanese Cuisine.  With its high standard towards authenticity and its signature “mala” flavor, a unique sensation of spiciness and numbness caused by a spice indigenous to the Sichuan region called the Sichuan peppercorn, Mala Sichuan Bistro has become one of the city’s foremost dining spots.  We invite you to come and join us on this culinary adventure.
